About Born Creative

Jonathan is Founder and Technical Director at Born Creative, drawing on twenty years of industry experience and his credentials as a Chartered IT Professional.

Alongside Born Creative, he's Co-Founder and CTO at Obsonis, an agentless attack surface and exposure management platform, where he owns the technology stack end to end: network scanners, automatic Zero Trust enforcement, real-time security telemetry, and the SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance programmes.

Before that, he was CTO at Biome Software, a cloud, AI-driven platform used by local authorities and local businesses to match businesses with funding programmes, and Co-Founder and CTO at ShadowDetect for five years, where he built an entire software stack from the ground up, including network scanners, Azure cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, API-based backends, and Next.js frontends.

Earlier still, as Head of Technology at ADEO Group, the award-winning Glasgow agency, he helped deliver hundreds of projects across varied sectors from hospitality to heavy industry. At ADEO Group, Jonathan's technical leadership contributed to creating award-winning websites and ecommerce platforms that drove over £45 million in client revenue.

His expertise now spans platform architecture, cybersecurity and AI-assisted engineering, alongside the ecommerce, integration and system design work Born Creative is built on.

As a software engineer, programmer, and software architect, Jonathan combines his technical consulting skills and e-commerce expertise with his roles as a dedicated geek and father.

Zoë brings two decades of professional design experience to her role as Creative Director at Born Creative.

Her career journey includes serving as Lead Designer at The D Squad and previously as Senior Graphic Designer at ADEO Group, the award-winning Glasgow web agency where she contributed to hundreds of projects spanning diverse sectors from sports to retail.

During her tenure at ADEO Group, Zoë helped create award-winning websites and ecommerce platforms that collectively generated over £45 million in revenue for their clients.

She specializes in comprehensive brand development, creating distinctive logo designs and complete branding guidelines. Her expertise spans modern web design and user interface creation, crafting intuitive digital experiences that seamlessly blend aesthetics with functionality. Her print design capabilities encompass everything from business collateral and marketing materials to large-format displays and packaging design. Through her multidisciplinary approach, she ensures brand consistency across all touchpoints, whether digital or physical.

Beyond her professional expertise as a designer, artist, and concept creator, Zoë is a skilled communicator who balances her creative leadership with being a devoted tea drinker and mother.
