The Project
This project was delivered while working as Head of Technology at ADEO Group, a Glasgow digital agency. It is not Born Creative project work.
The brief was to give every golf club in Scotland a way to run its own junior training programmes and competitions, on shared infrastructure rather than dozens of separate sites. I owned the specification, architecture and code.
The complexity was less about traffic and more about structure: each club needed to manage its own programmes independently, while sitting on one platform.

Each club runs its own junior training programmes and competitions within the platform, without needing separate installs or oversight from the others.

Purpose-built functionality for scheduling and running junior training and competition entries, used across the whole club network.
Our Approach
The technical challenge here wasn't scale in the traffic sense, it was structure: giving dozens of independent clubs their own space to manage programmes, while keeping the whole thing on one maintainable codebase rather than a site per club.
That meant designing permissions, data separation and content structures carefully at the outset, since retrofitting multi-tenancy onto a single-club WordPress site after the fact would have meant a rebuild.
