Background
Over twenty years building web platforms, ecommerce systems and complex integrations, first as Head of Technology inside a large digital agency, and since 2020 through Born Creative. Alongside that, CTO-level experience across three product companies, kept anonymous here for the same reason the agency work stays unnamed:
Currently co-founder and CTO of a cybersecurity attack surface management platform: agentless scanning, automatic zero-trust enforcement across firewall, ZTNA and SSE platforms, every security event streamed live into customer SIEM stacks, and ownership of the SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance programmes.
Before that, CTO of a cloud, AI-driven platform used by local authorities and local businesses to match businesses with funding programmes: secure multi-tenant architecture, AI-assisted reporting and workflow tooling, and technical leadership in front of public sector stakeholders.
Earlier still, co-founder and CTO of a cybersecurity hardware and software startup, building network scanner firmware, cloud infrastructure and the applications on top from nothing, and owning the technical side of a fundraising process.
